How do you upload photos to your consultation?

Step-by-step uploading in the app and in your browser, why email doesn't work, and what to do if your consultation has already been closed.

You always upload photos in your consultation itself, never by email.

In the app

  1. Open your consultation.

  2. In the chat, choose the option to add a photo.

  3. Take a new photo or choose one from your camera roll.

  4. Send. Your dermatologist can see them straight away.

In your browser

Go to app.skindr.com, log in and open your consultation. It works the same way there. For photos, the app is more convenient, though, because you can take pictures directly in the chat.

Why email doesn't work

We can't use photos that arrive by email, because they don't end up in your medical record where your dermatologist can see them.

Only your dermatologist uses your photos, to draw up your diagnosis and treatment plan. They are never published and are stored on secure servers, in accordance with the GDPR.

If your consultation has already been closed

You can't add anything yourself at that point. Contact us at [email protected] or via the chat. You can find all the options at skindr.com/contacteer-ons. Let us know what you want to send, and we will check whether your consultation can be reopened.

In the meantime, please don't email your photos, as we can't place them in your record from an email.
