You can start a consultation without a Belgian eID. Your dermatologist assesses your photos in exactly the same way and your treatment plan is no different. Only your prescription works differently.
Why the prescription works differently
An electronic prescription is normally stored on your eID. That way, every Belgian pharmacy can find it. If you don't have an eID, there is nothing to link it to.
What happens then
Our medical team sends your prescription as a pdf via the chat in your consultation. You print it or show it on your phone at the pharmacy.
Mention this when you start your consultation. That way, we can immediately arrange a prescription that works, and you won't run into a problem at the pharmacy first.
When this applies to you
You have a residence permit instead of a Belgian identity card.
You have a foreign identity document.
You don't have a Belgian national register number.
