Which skin conditions does Skindr treat?

What Skindr treats, what is not covered, and the minimum age.

Skindr is here for anything to do with your skin. Think of acne, eczema, psoriasis, rosacea, moles you are unsure about, fungal infections and rashes. Hair problems and hair loss are included too, as are nail problems and excessive sweating.

What Skindr does not do

Aesthetic treatments. Botox, fillers and laser are not medical skin care, so they are not part of what Skindr does.

Anything that requires you to be physically present. A biopsy, having a mole removed, an injection, or a mole that needs to be examined under a dermatoscope. Your dermatologist can see from your photos when that is necessary and will then refer you on.

Complaints outside dermatology. For those, it is best to see your GP.

Hard to photograph? Describe it instead

Some complaints are hardly possible to photograph, and excessive sweating is the clearest example.

Describe in as much detail as possible where it happens, when it comes on and how it affects your day. Your dermatologist can still give you specific advice based on that.

Read "My skin problem is not visible in a photo" for more information.

Age

You must be 18 or older to use Skindr yourself.

As a parent, you can however start a consultation for your child who is a minor. Read "Starting a consultation for someone else" to see how that works.
