A consultation costs from €49. The price depends on how quickly you want to receive your answer.
The three rates
You get an answer | Price |
Within five working days | €49 |
Within 48 hours, including at weekends | €59 |
Within 24 hours, including at weekends | €99 |
With the 24-hour and 48-hour options, weekends count as normal. If you choose five working days, weekends and public holidays do not count. You pay when you submit your consultation, after you have completed your description and uploaded your photos.
What is included?
A certified dermatologist reviews your photos and questionnaire and gives you personal advice and a treatment plan. If your dermatologist recommends a product or treatment, it will be listed in your treatment plan.
While your consultation is open, you can ask additional questions without paying again.
Reopening your consultation for €15
Your dermatologist decides when your consultation is closed. If you have a further question afterwards or want to add extra photos, you can have the consultation reopened up to seven days after it was closed. Reopening is a paid service and costs €15.
There are a few exceptions. In these situations, you do not need to reopen your consultation, so you do not pay the €15:
your dermatologist misunderstood your question
you asked your question before the consultation was closed, but did not receive an answer
a document still needs to be signed, amended or translated
your dermatologist asked you to send blood or lab results
In these situations, our team will help you at no extra cost.
After seven days, you normally cannot reopen a consultation yourself. Please contact our support team instead. They will check whether reopening is still possible in your situation.
Read "My consultation has been closed, but my question hasn't been answered" for more information about reopening and the situations in which you do not have to pay.
One consultation, one skin problem
A consultation covers one person and one skin problem. If you have two unrelated skin problems, you start a separate consultation for each one. This way, each problem can be assessed individually.
What is not included?
A follow-up is charged again. Your dermatologist then reassesses your situation, looks at any new photos and decides whether your treatment plan needs to be adjusted.
Read "Is a follow-up charged again?" for the difference between a follow-up and reopening an existing consultation.
Some health insurance funds and insurers contribute to the cost of a Skindr consultation. You can read more in "Does my health insurance fund reimburse Skindr?"
