What happens after you send your consultation?

Step by step, what happens between sending your consultation and receiving your treatment plan.

Your consultation has been sent. Here is what happens now, so that you know what to expect and when.

Step 1: your response time starts

The response time you chose starts at the moment your consultation is complete, meaning with your photos and your completed description. Not from the moment you created your account.

Step 2: a dermatologist reviews your file

They review your photos and your questionnaire personally. You do not receive an automatically generated reply, and no algorithm decides what you have.

Step 3: sometimes a question comes first

If your dermatologist needs an extra photo or more explanation, they will ask for it in your consultation. You will receive a notification.

The faster you reply, the faster your file moves forward. It is therefore worth keeping an eye on your consultation during the first few days rather than waiting for the deadline.

Step 4: your treatment plan arrives

You will receive an email as soon as it is ready. The plan itself is in your consultation, with what your dermatologist found, what you should do about it, and what you can expect over the coming weeks.

If it includes a prescription, this will be available on your eID. Read your treatment plan before you go to the pharmacy, so that you know what you are collecting and why.

Step 5: you can keep asking questions

Through the chat in your consultation, until your dermatologist closes it.

Feel free to ask questions. Questions about how to apply something, what to do if you have a side effect, or whether a reaction is normal all belong there. And as long as your consultation is open, it costs you nothing extra.

If you hear nothing

Look in your consultation, not in your mailbox. You will always find your treatment plan there. If there is no email from us in your inbox, check your spam folder too.

Has the response time you chose passed? Then get in touch and we will look into it. Read “I have not received a reply within the agreed time”.
